Α 21-year-old skier who went missing after a fall into a ravine on Sunday morning has died of his injuries.
The young man went missing while skiing near the refuge on Mt. Tzoumerka and was found seriously injured by his father and two other people in a ravine shortly afterward.
He died later on Sunday, in the helicopter that was taking him to Xatzikosta Hospital in Ioannina. The doctors tried to resuscitate him for almost one hour using CPR but did not succeed.
