A 35-year-old Turkish national has been arrested in Kalamata following the fatal stabbing of a 52-year-old colleague during renovation work at a beachfront hotel.
The incident occurred midday on the hotel's fourth-floor terrace.
According to reports, the suspect suddenly attacked the victim with a knife, inflicting multiple wounds to his neck, shoulder, arm, and leg. Emergency services rushed the victim to the hospital, but he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Police arrested the suspect at the scene and reportedly recovered a knife in his possession.
