Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas is aiming for a fresh start in 2025 after a disappointing season that saw him drop out of the world's top 10.
The two-time Grand Slam finalist, currently ranked 11th, admitted to feeling "stuck in a pattern" and is looking to "reinvent himself" both on and off the court.
"I'm looking for a fresh, new 2025," Tsitsipas stated. "That doesn't mean suddenly just start winning everything. It's just to see a trajectory of constant improvement in all fields in my career, but also in my outside life... I want to have stability in my life."
Tsitsipas, who begins his season at the United Cup mixed team event in Perth, acknowledged that being outside the top 10 for the first time since 2019 might take some pressure off.
However, he also sees it as an opportunity to accumulate points and build momentum.
The 26-year-old had a challenging 2024 season, with his only title win coming at the Monte Carlo Masters. He has also parted ways with his father, Apostolos, as his coach.
Tsitsipas is hoping to use the United Cup as preparation for the Australian Open, where he reached the final in 2023. With a renewed focus and a desire for stability, he aims to regain his top form and climb back up the rankings in the new year.
