Police in Thessaloniki have arrested 60 individuals on drug-related charges following a series of raids and inspections across the city.
The operation, which began on January 7th and continued into the early hours of today, targeted individuals involved in drug possession and trafficking.
Officers from the Thessaloniki Crime Suppression and Investigation Divisions, along with the Rapid Response Unit, conducted extensive checks in various areas of the city.
During the operation, they seized quantities of cannabis, heroin, cocaine, and prescription pills.
The 60 individuals arrested have been charged with violating drug laws and referred to the appropriate judicial authorities.
The crackdown reflects the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to combat drug-related crime in Thessaloniki and ensure public safety.
