A teenager was injured in a violent robbery over the weekend in the Kifisia suburb of Athens.
According to police, a group of approximately 10 masked individuals attacked two minors, aged 15 and 16, on Kassaveti Street. When the teenagers resisted, the 16-year-old sustained head injuries and collapsed.
The 15-year-old was unharmed. The injured teen was taken by ambulance to Evangelismos hospital for treatment.
Police arrived at the scene after the attackers had fled. An investigation is underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
The incident has caused alarm in the local community, as it follows other similar attacks reported in recent weeks.
