SYRIZA sets up Restart Central Committee to rally broader social forces

SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance announced on Thursday its Central Committee on Restart, which will work toward rallying broader social forces and work to expand the party membership as the party heads towards its congress.

The party said the new committee consisted of 730 members so far, including "elected representatives from workplaces, local government, sciences, agricultural agencies and trade chambers at national level, distinguished personalities in the sciences and culture, SYRIZA party youth officers, former deputies and government officials of 2015-2019, as well as deputies, Eurodeputies, members of the party's Central Committee, and coordinators of prefecture committees of SYRIZA-PA."
