Mr. Marinakis emphasized Greece’s robust economic performance under Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, highlighting accomplishments such as leading Europe in tax reductions relative to GDP, reducing unemployment, and achieving a significant decrease in the debt-to-GDP ratio.
He dismissed concerns about Greece's vulnerability to a looming European recession, assuring that the country’s economy is on solid footing, promising continued growth and stability.
On constitutional reforms, Mr. Marinakis reiterated the government’s openness to bipartisan cooperation, aiming for comprehensive amendments to benefit the country.
When addressing speculation about potential cabinet reshuffles, he affirmed that such decisions rest solely with the Prime Minister, focusing instead on the administration's ongoing agenda.
Turning to geopolitics, Mr. Marinakis responded to Turkey's initiative to establish maritime zones with Syria.
