The Hellenic Police on Sunday announced a series of traffic measures that will be taken during the Europa Conference League final match between Olympiacos and Fiorentina on Wednesday, May 29, at the OPAP Arena stadium in the west Athens district of Nea Philadelphia.
The traffic measures will affect the neighbouring municipalities of Nea Philadelphia, Nea Halkidona, Nea Ionia, Metamorfosi and City of Athens, while a separate band of measures have also been taken in the municipality of Piraeus, the base of Olympiacos.
The police have appealed to motorists to avoid using the above roads and avenues during those times and follow the instructions of traffic police, so that the event can be carried out in safety.
The planned measures will include:
A) The temporary and gradual closure to all vehicle traffic from Monday, May 27 at 6:00 until Thursday, May 30 at 6:00 of Patriarchou Konstantinou Road, in the lanes toward Dekelias Avenue, and Chrysostomou Smyrnis.
B) The temporary and gradual closure to vehicle traffic, from 6:00 on Wednesday until 6:00 on Thursday of the roads:

H) Additional traffic measures will be taken in the municipality of Piraeus, where vehicles will be forbidden to stop or park between 6:00 on Wednesday and 22:00 on Wednesday on:
Eth. Makariou, between the junction with Dim. Falireos and the junction with Poseidonos Avenue
Karaoli & Dimitriou, from Pireos to the Eth. Makariou junction
In addition, both the above roads will be closed to traffic from 17:00 until 22:00 on Wednesday
