Christopher Nolan's "Odyssey," featuring Matt Damon as Odysseus, is continuing production in Messinia, Greece, with new images revealing scenes from the Cyclops Polyphemus episode.
Set photos from Nestor's Cave in Voidokilia show the blinding of the Cyclops and the escape with the sheep. Damon, alongside other cast members in armor, is seen entering the cave, while a replica of Odysseus’ ship is visible offshore. Specially trained sheep from Italy are being used in the production.
Nolan, known for his meticulous filmmaking, was observed on set.
The film boasts an all-star cast, including Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong'o, Zendaya, and Robert Pattinson.
"Odyssey" is anticipated to be an ambitious adaptation of Homer's epic, with early visuals suggesting a visually stunning portrayal.
