Nikolaos de Grece and Chryssi Vardinogianni were married Friday in a private ceremony at the Church of Saint Nicholas Rangavas in Plaka, Athens.
The couple invited only close family, reportedly around 50 guests. A reception followed at an elegant venue in Piraeus.
Despite the small gathering, some family members were notably absent. Nikolaos' younger brother, Prince Philippos, and his wife, Nina Flohr, did not attend, nor did Flohr’s father, billionaire Thomas Flohr.
The couple was last seen publicly in September at the wedding of Theodora de Grece and Matthew Kumar.
The reason for their absence is unknown.
Also missing were Maria-Olympia, daughter of Pavlos and Marie-Chantal, and her brothers, Achileas-Andreas and Odysseas-Kimon.
Pavlos and Marie-Chantal attended with their other sons, Constantine-Alexios and Aristidis-Stavros.
Nikolaos' older sister, Princess Alexia, was present with her husband, Carlos Morales, and their daughters, Anna-Maria and Amelia.
The couple's decision for a private wedding was respected, but the absences have fueled speculation.
Greek Foreign Minister Visits India to Strengthen Ties
Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis is in India for a two-day visit to strengthen relations between the countries.
Athens considers the visit significant, especially given Greece's upcoming term on the United Nations Security Council in 2025-26.
Gerapetritis met with Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on Thursday and is scheduled to meet with India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval, on Friday.
