The latest opinion poll results, released on Monday, show that Greece's ruling New Democracy (ND) party maintains a solid lead over its political opponents, while left-wing Syriza continues to experience a sharp decline in voter support.
According to the poll conducted by Alco, ND enjoys the backing of 25% of respondents, without any extrapolation of the results.
Center-left Pasok has risen to second place, with 15.3% support. Syriza, on the other hand, has dropped to just 6.5%.
A notable finding from the survey is that 57% of self-identified Syriza voters believe another leadership bid by ousted president Stefanos Kasselakis would result in his re-election as party leader.
Regarding public perception of alternatives to the current government, 21% of respondents view Pasok as a credible option, a number that puts it well ahead of other opposition parties, which all registered single-digit support.
If a general election were held this week, the poll suggests that eight parties would surpass the 3% threshold necessary to enter parliament.
Despite ND's comfortable lead and the fragmented opposition, there is a clear undercurrent of dissatisfaction among the Greek public. 44% of respondents said their personal or family situations are worsening, while only 9% said they are improving.
Additionally, 55% expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' government.
