Pierre-Eric Pommellet, CEO of Naval Group, has reassured that the first Belhara frigate being built for the Greek Navy in France will be delivered as planned in 2025.
In an interview with Greece’s state ERT broadcaster, Mr. Mommellet said delivery deadlines would be met, raising the prospect of a fourth frigate to also be included.
Mr. Pommellet stressed the extensive collaboration with Greek companies, including Salamis Shipyards and over 30 others, in the frigate programme. He also highlighted ongoing research and development partnerships with Greek companies, focusing on future projects like unmanned systems and eco-friendly military ships.
