Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis addressed an extraordinary teleconference on Ukraine called by European People's Party (EPP) President and Head of the European Council Donald Tusk on Wednesday.
"We cannot accept historical revisionism through the use of force," the Greek premier told the online EPP summit, which was also attended by representatives of Ukrainian center-right parties, noted Greek government sources.
In view of Thursday's emergency European Council meeting on Ukraine, Mitsotakis pointed out that Europe has to tackle price hikes in energy costs collectively. This is relevant not only for overburdened households and businesses; it also pertains to the necessity that Europe stops being affected by natural gas price fluctuations and that it seeks alternative energy sources.
