The Intrakat Group has embarked on the construction of a significant 171MW solar park in the Lignite Center of Western Macedonia, Kozani.
This initiative is part of the Public Power Corporation (PPC) Group’s strategic expansion into the renewable energy sector.
The consortium “Intrakat - Ameresco - RES INVEST PV 171MW,” with Intrakat holding a leading 45% share, has secured a contract with Spartakos Energy to develop the solar project.
The project includes three solar stations equipped with bifacial panels and fixed support systems, strategically located across the municipalities of Eordaia and Kozani.
The consortium is responsible for carrying out the entire project, including its application study, licensing, construction, procurement, installation, and operational commencement.
The project timeline is set at 14 months, priced at 40 million euros for the creation of a solar park designed to provide electricity to nearly 70,000 households, reducing CO2 emissions by about 68,000 tons annually.
