"Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally Team dominated the Acropolis Rally Greece, with Thierry Neuville and Martijn Wydaeghe securing a hard-fought victory. Dani Sordo and Candido Carrera finished second, while Ott Tanak and Martin Jarveoja claimed third place.

The rally was marked by challenging conditions and dramatic incidents. Sebastien Ogier and Vincent Landais, who were in second place, suffered a devastating crash on the final stage, rolling their car and finishing in 51st place.

Ogier's crash occurred shortly after a medical emergency involving a spectator, highlighting the dangers of the sport.

Despite his own mishap earlier in the rally, Neuville managed to maintain a lead over his Hyundai teammates and secure the victory.

The Acropolis Rally, known for its treacherous terrain, proved to be a test of survival for the top drivers, with Sordo and Tanak both suffering tire damage during the event.

The results of the Acropolis Rally have significant implications for the overall WRC championship standings.

Neuville has strengthened his lead over Ogier, who has now been overtaken by Tanak for second place.

With three races remaining, Neuville is in a strong position to claim his first WRC championship title."
