The election of Donald Trump to the White House has sparked mixed reactions among Greek voters, with 27% of respondents expressing “concern” about a second Trump administration, according to the latest Pulse poll.

Another 22% said they were “curious” about such a development, while 16% described themselves as “neutral or indifferent.”

Trump’s support in Greece was strongest among men aged 17 to 44, while women in the same age group were the most critical.

The findings highlight global interest in U.S. politics even as Greek voters grapple with domestic challenges.

Domestically, the poll showed ruling New Democracy (ND) holding a solid 14-point lead over its closest rival, Pasok. ND garnered 30% of respondents’ preferences, compared to 16% for Pasok, which has replaced Syriza as the main opposition party in Parliament.

The Communist Party (KKE) and right-wing Elliniki Lysi (Greek Solution) were tied at 9.5%, while leftist Syriza—hampered by internal splits and defections—was favored by just 6%.

Five smaller parties, including two newcomers, surpassed the 3% threshold required for parliamentary representation.

Among them was the right-wing Foni tis Logikis (Voice of Reason), founded by Aphrodite Latinopoulou, which polled at 6%. Former Syriza leader Stefanos Kasselakis’ liberal Movement of Democracy hovered at 3%.

In terms of voter intent, ND received 25.5%, slightly up from the previous month’s poll.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis remained the clear favorite for the premiership, supported by 30% of respondents.

Pasok leader Nikos Androulakis trailed at 8%, with other party leaders also in single digits.

The survey, presented on Skai TV’s prime-time newscast, captured both domestic political dynamics and international concerns, as Greeks weighed the implications of their electoral choices alongside global developments like Trump’s potential return to power.
