Greek Prime Minister Offers Condolences for Myanmar Earthquake Victims

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis expressed his condolences for the victims of the powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar and affected Thailand.

"The news and images from Myanmar and Thailand are heartbreaking," Mr. Mitsotakis said in a social media post. "Our thoughts are with all those affected by the earthquake.

On behalf of all Greeks, I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the victims."

The earthquake, among the strongest to hit the region in recent years, caused significant destruction and loss of life. Rescue operations are underway as authorities work to assess the full extent of the disaster.
