Greek President to open renovated Delos Museum

Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou will inaugurate today the newly restored Archaeological Museum of Delos.

The museum, among the oldest in Greece, has undergone extensive renovations to address its deteriorating condition due to harsh environmental factors.

The project was funded in part by the European Union and is part of the larger "Delos - Open Museum" initiative aimed at upgrading the entire archaeological site.

Following the inauguration, Culture Minister Lina Mendoni will present the renovation work and a special exhibition titled "Delos - Rineia - Mykonos: Images from 150 Years of Archaeological Research" at the Mykonos Archaeological Museum.
