Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Ankara, which resulted in the tragic deaths of four citizens and left 14 others injured.
In a post on the platform "X," Mr. Mitsotakis expressed his deep condolences to the victims and their families, stating: "I strongly condemn today’s terrorist attack in Ankara. Our thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with the families of the victims."
The attack, which has shocked Turkey, drew widespread condemnation from various international leaders. Greece’s response highlights its solidarity with its neighboring country, despite the often complex relations between the two nations.
Similarly, Dimitris Mantzos, the spokesperson for Pasok and head of the party’s foreign affairs sector, voiced an unequivocal denunciation of the attack.
In his own statement on "X," Mr. Mantzos expressed “explicit, unequivocal, and unconditional condemnation of the terrorist attack in Ankara, as well as any act of violence that threatens the safety and well-being of civilians.”
He reaffirmed Greece’s firm commitment to international law and the protection of human life, while also emphasizing the importance of peace and stability in the broader region.
