Greek Minister of National Economy and Finance Kyriakos Pierrakakis has met with Michael Kratsios, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, to discuss strengthening U.S.-Greece cooperation in technology and investment.
Discussions focused on Greece’s recent economic progress, the country’s potential to attract U.S. investment, and global developments in artificial intelligence.
The meeting renewed a productive dialogue that began in 2020 during Greece’s digital transformation efforts, when Mr. Pierrakakis, then serving as minister for digital governance, and Mr. Kratsios established a collaborative framework to promote technological innovation.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation, aiming to deepen ties between Greece and the United States in the areas of technology and economic development.
