The Greek Ministry of National Defense announced that Greek Fleet Commander Vice Admiral Polychronis Koulouris will host Turkish Fleet Commander Vice Admiral Kadir Yildiz on July 8-9, 2024, as part of ongoing confidence-building measures between the two countries.
The Turkish Fleet Commander will also pay a courtesy visit to the Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice Admiral Dimitrios-Eleftherios Katara, during this time.
The meeting signals a positive step towards improving relations between Greece and Turkey.
