In a surprising twist in Greece's political landscape, Plefsi Eleftherias has surged to share second place with Pasok, according to a new Pulse poll for Skai TV.
While the ruling New Democracy (ND) maintains a solid lead with 27.5% in estimated vote share, the battle for the runner-up spot has intensified, with both Pasok and Plefsi Eleftherias securing 14%.
The poll highlights the rapid rise of Plefsi Eleftherias, led by Zoe Konstantopoulou, which has climbed 11 percentage points over the past year, transforming from a minor player into a major contender.
In the projected vote share, ND leads with 27.5%, followed by Pasok and Plefsi Eleftherias at 14% each. The Greek Solution follows at 9.5%, while Syriza and the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) each secure 8%.
Smaller parties, including Niki, Foni Logikis, and MeRA25, are also projected to enter parliament.
In voter intention, ND holds a narrower lead at 23%, with Pasok and Plefsi Eleftherias tied at 12%.
Greek Solution stands at 8%, and Syriza and KKE trail with 6.5% each.
The poll indicates an eight-party parliament, with Niki and Foni Logikis reaching the 3.5% threshold, while 16% of voters remain undecided.
When asked which opposition party is most likely to govern in the future, 28% of respondents chose Pasok, while 25% expressed no confidence in any party, and 11% named Plefsi Eleftherias.
The sharp rise of Konstantopoulou’s party from 3% to 14% since early 2024 marks a dramatic shift in Greece’s opposition dynamics.
This rapid climb underscores a volatile and shifting political landscape in Greece, as voters seek alternatives to traditional parties.
The surge of Plefsi Eleftherias suggests a growing appetite for a new voice in Greek politics, with the potential to disrupt established dynamics ahead of the next election.
