Hellenic Police arrested another individual who appears to be linked to the bomb explosion at an apartment in the Ambelokipi district of Athens on October 31, which killed a man and severely injued a woman.
The police arrested a 31-year-old man following an arrest warrant issued against him. Police sources said that during investigation on the case they found a print of his on a bag with ammunition at the site of the explosion on Arkadias Street.
He was known to authorities, as he had served jail time for attempted armed robbery and for possession and placement of explosive mechanisms, while he had been acquitted of charges he was associated with the terrorist group "Conspiracy of Cells of Fire".
The man will be led before a prosecutor on Tuesday morning.
So far, police have arrested three more people, another 31-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman, and a 33-year-old woman. One of the women is under guard in the hospital and the other two individuals have been detained after testifying.
