With the holiday season in full swing, stores and supermarkets across Greece are extending their hours to accommodate shoppers seeking the perfect gifts and festive treats. From now until January 2nd, shoppers can enjoy longer shopping days, including Sunday openings.
Most stores will be open from 9 am to 9 pm Monday through Saturday, offering plenty of time to browse and find those special presents.
For those who prefer to shop on Sundays, stores will be open from 11 am to 6 pm on December 15th, 22nd, and 29th.
Supermarkets are also joining the extended hours trend, opening their doors on the same Sundays from 11 am to 8 pm to help shoppers stock up on holiday meal essentials. And for those who prefer the mall experience, shopping centers will be open daily from 11 am to 8 pm, including Sundays.
However, there are a few exceptions to keep in mind. On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, stores will close early at 6 pm. All stores will be closed on Christmas Day, December 26th, and New Year's Day. Additionally, stores will remain closed on January 2nd for post-holiday restocking.
