Traffic authorities reported that from the morning of Holy Monday until 6 p.m. on Good Friday, a staggering 425,210 vehicles passed through the tolls heading towards Corinth and Lamia, marking a significant increase from previous years.
Specifically, from Holy Monday to the morning of Good Friday, 329,684 vehicles were recorded at the toll stations, surpassing last year’s count of 309,998 vehicles and the 2022 figure of 291,141 vehicles.
The outbound traffic continues from both Athens and Thessaloniki, with the last of the holidaymakers expected to depart tomorrow morning, Holy Saturday.
