Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister George Kotsiras will visit New York, Philadelphia, and Boston as of Friday, to promote scientific diplomacy and networking between Greece and the scientific diaspora.
Specifically, Kotsiras will visit Greek studies chairs/departments at Yale, Harvard, Brown and Boston Universities and will participate in an event of the Hellenic Innovation Network (HIN). He will also have a series of meetings with Greek-American academics, researchers, businesspersons, and professionals, and will pay a visit to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
During his visit to the United States, the deputy minister will meet with Greeks of the diaspora, and church and education agencies, with whom he will exchange views on issues of Greeks abroad in light of the recent presentation of the Foreign Ministry's Strategic Plan for Greeks Abroad 2024-2027 at the ministry.
