PASOK-Movement for Change leader Nikos Androulakis described Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis as "failed" during his speech at the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair, on Wednesday.
He predicted that the people would "retire" Mitsotakis from his political career prematurely. Androulakis emphasized that Greeks are now looking to PASOK as the primary opposition party and asserted that PASOK will be the next progressive government. He also presented a "plan for Greece's present and future" with eight national goals, focusing on "Sustainable Development - Quality Jobs - Reducing Inequality."
Addressing Mitsotakis directly, Androulakis said that more people are turning away from the "decay" caused by his government, hoping for a fairer society and a more resilient economy with opportunities for all. He stated that PASOK aims to harness and unlock Greece's potential to provide prospects and dignity to every Greek citizen. He also criticized the government, noting that in the sixth year of New Democracy's leadership, citizens have nothing to expect from the current administration except to wait until 2027 for better days, as Mitsotakis is focused on the next elections rather than addressing significant economic and social issues.
