Construction giant Aktor is making a major move into the real estate sector with the acquisition of a €600 million property portfolio from Prodea Investments.
The deal, which has been notified to the Hellenic Competition Commission, will see Aktor take full control of Milora and its portfolio of properties generating an annual rental income of €41.5 million.
This strategic acquisition marks a significant expansion for Aktor, diversifying its business activities while maintaining construction as a core focus.
The company plans to integrate the portfolio into a modern real estate platform, leveraging synergies within the group to renovate, operate, and develop the acquired properties.
The portfolio comprises 56 properties located across Greece, Italy, Cyprus, and Bulgaria. Aktor aims to maximize the value of these assets through modernization and optimization strategies.
The group has set ambitious financial goals, targeting €40 million EBITDA by 2025 and €55 million by 2030.
The €582 million investment will be financed through a combination of non-recourse bank debt, subordinated debt, and equity. By 2030, the real estate division is projected to contribute 13% to the group's overall EBITDA.
This acquisition signals Aktor's ambition to become a major player in the real estate market while solidifying its position in the construction industry.
