Aegean Airlines has temporarily suspended all flights to and from Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan, as well as Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, and Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, Lebanon, until Thursday.

The decision comes in response to escalating tensions in the Middle East region.

Passengers who have booked flights to or from these destinations up until August 31st are being offered flexibility in managing their travel plans. They can change or cancel their flights without incurring additional costs by contacting Aegean Airlines via phone or through their website.

Affected passengers will be eligible for either a refund or a credit voucher.

The suspension of flights by Aegean Airlines aligns with similar actions taken by other airlines who are avoiding Iranian and Lebanese airspace due to recent developments. The airline is actively monitoring the situation and following guidance from relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of its passengers and crew.

For further information and updates, passengers are advised to visit the Aegean Airlines website.
