A 45-year-old man from Syria was arrested on Wednesday afternoon in Athens, accused of rape and sexual acts with a minor who had not yet turned 12 years old.
The 45-year-old is accused of committing the aforementioned criminal acts against a minor in an apartment in Athens. Specifically, according to police sources, the 45-year-old, who resides in the same apartment building as the six-year-old girl of Moroccan descent, approached her and under currently unknown circumstances lured her into his apartment where he sexually abused her.
The arrested was brought before the Prosecutor.
