Unemployed individuals in Greece aged 30 to 59 will have the opportunity to receive €17,000 in financial support to start their own businesses.
The new program, launched by the Public Employment Service (DYPA), aims to encourage entrepreneurship and boost the creation of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Labor Minister Niki Kerameus announced that the program will place particular emphasis on supporting female entrepreneurship.
The initiative has a total budget of €100 million and is expected to fund up to 5,880 unemployed individuals, primarily women.
Applications for funding will be submitted electronically through the integrated state aid information system (OPSKE) of the National Economy and Finance Ministry.
This program represents a significant investment in entrepreneurship and job creation, providing valuable support to those seeking to start their own businesses and contribute to Greece's economic growth.
